Updating Payment Details

Here's a guide to updating your payment details for the Guild of Residential Landlords.

First, you should go to your account dashboard.

Update credit card

On the right-hand side, there are "useful links". Click on "Update Credit Card Info" and follow the instructions. This will change your card details for the auto-renewing payments.

If you'd like to update the card linked to your PayPal account, you can do so directly within PayPal. Here's the link for your convenience.

Changing payment method

Switching your payment method between PayPal and a credit card in our system can be a bit tricky. The only way to do this is to cancel your current subscription and start a new one using your preferred payment method. Follow these steps:

1. You can cancel your subscription by navigating to the account dashboard and clicking Cancel next to the subscription at the top right. Alternatively, you can find a cancel link on the Payment History page. You continue to have access until expiry, but no further payment will be taken.
2. Upon expiry of your subscription, please renew via the signup page using the preferred payment method. Log in before renewing where prompted to ensure you retain your account and the best rate. If you're on a lower rate available to existing subscribers, you must renew within a few days to keep the old rate (no less than £90 per year).
