Usually, leave this as yes to allow you to send documents by email.
If you set this to yes, you must also allow the tenant to serve documents to the landlord by email.
This is the only tenant email to be shown in the tenancy agreement. If there are multiple tenants, documents will be deemed served on all of them if sent to this email address (although you can still copy the document to additional recipients).
There is a Copy to Tenant 1 Email button. This simply copies the email address to the first tenant's email address, so you don't have to type it twice. It's optional.
You can add up to 9 tenants.
Add a tenant by clicking the ‘add’ button on the right.
Remove one by using the remove button.
Enter the full name, including the title and middle names of the tenant.
Remote signing will use this email.
If the tenancy is an assured shorthold or occupation contract and a deposit scheme is selected, this email will be inserted into the prescribed information and will be legally required.
For the first tenant, there is a Copy to Service Email button. This simply copies the email address from the first tenant into the service email address field above, saving you from typing it twice. It is optional.
The telephone of the tenant.
This field will only display if the tenancy type equals assured shorthold tenancy or occupation contract, and you selected a deposit scheme.

The fax number of the tenant.
This field will only display if the tenancy type equals assured shorthold tenancy and a deposit scheme has been selected.
If the tenant has a fax, the field must be filled in and it is a legal requirement for the deposit prescribed information.
Insert the ”current” address of the tenant. The address will be their actual address when the agreement is prepared. Therefore, it will not likely be the tenancy address unless you’re doing a renewal.

The address should be used by the landlord or deposit scheme to contact the tenant ”after” the tenancy has ended.
This will typically be a family member or a close friend’s address.
